At Home Brake Cleanup

I have this problem with squeeling brakes and as previously posted nissan said it was because of my calipers being painted.

I want to take my brakes apart more or less and try and fix my problem... can i take a wire brush to the top of my rotor to try and get some paint off? It is only about as big as a quarter, but it may help... what else would you recommend for my project?

new pads? if so, which kind?

thanks

Sand your rotor and pads surfaces with 180 grit aluminum oxide paper
