Cattman sells the Place Racing CAI. I don't know if it's cheaper to buy it from Place Racing or Cattman. There is another company now that makes a CAI for the maxima. I think they are called MaxRev, check some of the other posts. I've seen pictures of it on the yahoo club and it seems identical to the Place Racing. But I don't know what it costs.

CAI Prices

MaxRev sells the CAI for $255.00 including shipping UPS ground with an S&B filter? Cattman sells it for $230.00 shipped UPS Ground with a K&N filter. Couldn't find Place Racing? Is there a link of a # to call?Thanx

Place Racing sells there intake for 220.00 in yellow with a K&N filter. Dunno for just $4 bucks more I can get the cattman CAI. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Cattman CAI and the PlaceRacing CAI?Thanx

When you do get the CAI make sure that you check out the directions at http://www.maximadriver.com and
**GET THE HOLE SAW** If you don't get the hole saw it will take much longer and be a pain in the ***. I did the install with a hole saw and it took about three hours, and that included having to run out for a few more nuts and bolts and taking my time. I got the 3 1/4" saw from Sears for about $12, but others have recommended getting the 3 1/2" (this would work better). If you need help, just post and everyone will give you some pointers.

Buy from Cattman

IIRC Placeracing costs more not to mention you have to pay state sales tax. Cattman can ship it to you from outside CA which will save you the sales tax.
