I think my sunroof is leaking but am not sure. In NYC over the last 2 days a couple of really heavy downpours (roads flooding). Water started dripping from the sunroof switch and nowhere else. My max has the sunroof spoiler but I am stumped (car is smelling a little funny also)

Help

check your drain tubes , they are clogged. open the roof and in the front 2 corners there are small holes, using an air compressor blow those guys out with at least 80psi. if you dont have access to a compressor, remove the kick panels and they should be in there somewhere, pull them out and clean em out. for the rear ones pull the trim in the trunk on the sides away and fish around until you find the tubes, pull em out and clean. your all set to go! hope this helps

Thank you very much. I have a project to do this weekend! I will post back after I have cleaned the drains. (I go to a car wash to confirm!)

trubd: what more info do you need?
komodo: you can just use a garden hose, there is actually quite a bit of water that is let into sunroofs, new or old, fyi.
