Struggles to start...

I had trouble with starting my maxima when it is cold. Usually it will crank the first time, long crank. Then it would crank and then stumble, then die. Do that one or two more times, then the next crank, it would start like normal. I went to the dealership and the ran the codes and nothing came up but the knock sensor. They suggest that it might be the fuel pressure regulator or a few or all the coils. I was wondering if this sounds like a good diagnosis. They do not know what it might be and they want me to leave the max overnight, but I cannot be without my car for that long. Any insight would be great.

Solution

My car has the same problem, there is a TSB about it in the Technical Services Bulletin section.

If you drive a 95 Max like me, there is a lot in there you should read.
