Throttle Cable

I know this is probably simple but how do I tighten the stupid throttle body cable. The gas pedal seems so loose i dont' know... it takes a while for it to react when i hit the gas pedal.. i see a piece of cable.. and a lil thingy at the end... it seems like it's tightening.. but i don't know if i'm tightening it or loosenin' it!

Thanx for any help!

to tighten your throttle cable you need to go into your engine bay and look at your throttle body.

on the left side there are the two metal cables that end at two half moon cresents(one is accelerator, one is cruise control). follow the cables back from that point until you reach a point where there are two nuts on each cable. loosen the first nut you come across and then tighten the one above it. do this for both cables. do not overtighten the cables! there should be a little play like .5 inches up and down or so.

good luck
