so im open to anymore generics or things that work just as good as dynamat...., but i dont wanna put like 5 sheets of brown bread to get to have the same effect as 1 layer of d mat....ya know?

I believe that there is an equivalent to Xtreme, but I don't know what it's called. Search around www.sounddomain.com and click on the forums. Search there. There is tons of information about polymeric mastic, and all the generics. Mcmastercarr.com is by far the cheapest I believe. Bulk packs on ebay will work too, as long as they are made out of the same thing as the real stuff. Just make sure that it is. Polymeric Mastic is EXACTLY the same thing as dynamat original. You can double the generic up for cheap, unless you want to spend a ton on dynamat.......

well u can get the floors covered, and underneath the back seat, and the trunk floor with the 39 foot bulk kit, BUT ure gonna lay it on thin...ure gonna get one layer in each area, with a few spots still uncovered, i think the best idea here is to maybe get the generic brand over the dynamat....im gonna make a dynamat sandwich....i have the d mat already, im gonna get a lot of the generic stuff, then cover it with extreme, besides when i show my system and ppl r looking around, they usually go, "ohhh, thats why it sounds good" when they see the dynamat name brand...
