My baby got hit tonight :(

so i was driving along down this road, and i have the green, and i see this dumb a$$ in a civic coming up to the stoplight pretty quick, and i keep going throuhg, and he doesnt stop...and BAM, right into the front end of my car. he ran the stoplight like an idiot. so we pull into the parking lot nearest to us, and i get out, and my front bumper is hanging off, broke my euro clear corner lens, huge dent in the passenger fender, scrape from fender to the door under the mirror...i was so ****ed off, my friend had to hold me in control. he was trying to say it wasnt his fault because he came to a stop or something, and i flipped out on him saying "how could you come to a stop then hit my car at 25 mph.

my dad had to come too, because i was on the phone with him, and he thought i was going to kill the guy. of course it had to be a civic...i knew i hated those SOB's for a reason besides them being slow. now i gotta go get estimates and all this crap tomorrow. sorry for all this, but im pretty frustrated right now...

He came to a stop after hitting your car.

Damn man, sorry to hear that. At least he could admit fault. You should take him to court, sue the bejesus out of him, then push his car off a cliff

hopefully everything is fixed up before the 28th GLD meet. I had intended on getting to chicago early that day to see if Hector could tint my tails. you should prolly tag along to Dave, seeing as how you two combine to create some beautiful artwork.

and i'm gonna get pain and suffering, one because it was my fricken baby for pete's sake, and two, im going to be without a car until all of it gets fixed. how am i supposed to get to my two jobs? this whole thing is ridiculous over some ******* driving like an idiot. at least on the bright side, i can probably get the stillen front lip i've been dying for...

you get a police report?

I don't know about the pain and suffering... just take it to a shop you like, get em to do the work and let his insurance company know. They will also pay for a rental too. I think you should be okay.

sorry to hear.

Very tragic to hear about your accident, good thing you guys were alright, and now that everyone is all safe, get him to fix your Sh*t, brand new everything, best paint job, the works, plus his insurance will have to pay for your rental, and get a 6th Gen as your rental while you wait.

Make sure they check out everything, and make sure your in perfect condition at their expense, so check tranny make sure its good, why not his insurance is paying for it, and you need the piece of mind your car is in excellent condition after that horrific event.

just what I would do, especially if a Civic was the cause.

lol, im going to make sure everything is ok. my alignment is all f'ed up now, so that has to be fixed for sure. i just put in my new PIAA xtreme whites tonight, so my first thought was that he f'ed up my headlights, but they were ok. do i get the choice of what my rental is? a 6th gen isnt all that bad...i just might not give that back.

you may or you may not get to choose. when my max got rear-ended, the insurance company of the ***** who hit me wanted to give me a dodge stratus with a 4 cyl. basically i told them where they could shove their stratus, and wound up with a 2004 v6 camry with 50 miles on it for a few days. make sure they give you a mid size and a v6. you are entitled to get something "fairly" comparable to what you drive.

o man davi....ok guys the best part about this whole thing is that before this happened he was on the phone with me and we were talking about crashing our cars, mind you this was while he was driving lol. so anyway he said i wish somone would hit me or i should run into a pole or somthing so i can get a new max and we were going back and forth laughing about it, we hung up then, bam no more than 10 min later hes parked crashed the F up. i totally thought he was kidding when he called me back it took some convincing but eventually i beleived him. man that was a good laugh i couldnt beleive that so now i say come on and wish that i win the lottery so i can win lol. sorry its nothing to joke about but that was pretty freaky. -ryan

well, i got the estimate today, and it came out to 1800 in damages. not bad, but not good. they'll have my car for three days. i dunno when, i guess when they get in all the parts ill need. a new fender, new bumper, new corner lens, new foglight, new strut mount, alignment, headlight aiming, and the best is they're repainting my hood, cuz it looks like ish from all the rock chips. so i guess it turned out to be not so bad after all.

sorry to hear about that man, always breaks my heart. make sure they check the steering too, thats something a lot of body shops wont check, you want that right especially if your a "spirited" driver. as for the hood...

Well I'm glad it all worked out. Did u get any $$$ for Pain and suffering? Tell the insurance co. u pinched a nerve in the accident and and they'll give u $$$ for pain and suffering. They can't prove u did or not so go ahead and get some extra $$$ for your "baby."

lol, i dont think any places would rent a 6th gen max, i was just wishing. haha, maybe i'll try the pain and suffering thing. i dunno if they'll buy it, but it's worth a try. that can go to my new Alpine head unit. but it should be getting fixed next week, in time for our GLD meet on the 28th.

it was weird, because two blocks before the accident happened, there was another cop, and i put my seatbelt on because of him, and didnt take it off when he turned off, and then the accident happened. i think God was watchin out for me that night.

that's why i look both ways when I go from a intersection incase some n00b driver dont' know how to brake in time. Defensive driving but you can't win em all. You could've been going through from a roll and it could've been worse. It's america, just sue his ***. How are them backpains and brain damage?
