Pin stripes you mean? Mine just peeled off. If not, try a heatgun/hair dryer. Mother's prewax cleaner and some elbow grease works well to take off the residue left from the glue.

leave one side parked facing the sun on a hot day, for about an hour. the pin stripe should peel off fairly easily, then do the same for the other side. if you get the stripe TOO hot, it will actually leave more adhesive on the car. just get some goo gone or similar stuff to remove the glue that's left over.

hair dryer, and plastic putty knife might help, peel away, use the hairdryer in the next spot you intend to peel, itll start coming off little by little if you do it correctly. eventaully if the adhesive gets gooey you can pull most of it off in one stroke

dude, face the stripe to the sun for about an hour, then dip some acetone to the paper towel. rub it against the stripe and use finger nail carefully scrape it off. you won't hurt the paint yet, after you get them off. please go wax your spots where you remove the stripes. I did mine, and i used maguire yellow wax three times on the spots. my car turned out fine. no paint off.

wow you guys make it hard on yourselves...

it took me all of 3 minutes to take my stripes off...

Go to Home Depot or Sears, whatever & buy a "stripe off" wheel....

So you'll say that you don't have a compressor.....

put it on a regular drill (yes one of these)

and get to work........

sure it's cheaper if you let it sit in the sun & use your fingernail but who wants to do that?.................

Good Luck.

EDIT: and of course wax it after you finish

Yeah I've used those on really tough ones...but I didn't want to try to describe it. Mine literally just peeled right off without even being heated (in the sun or otherwise). It really just depends on how well they're on there.

oh yeah.... just be careful not to press to hard so you don't burn the paint... do it carefully if you've never done this before...

EDIT: and don't put it on full speed or anything....
