Passenger Side Airbag Panel Help

i recently hit a pothole and my passenger side airbag cover popped up open about 2 inches, and it was shaking as i drove, so i just hit it closed real hard and it snapped back in place, but now its embarassing, when i hit some kind of bump, once in a while, it will pop right up....is there anyway to fix this? should i wedge something in there to keep it closed? i dont wanna make some kind of tough wedge that will prevent the airbag from deploying...and i dont get any codes or errors, for the airbag, its just the lid part....thanks...

well I think you might need to remove it and put some adhesive on it...to remove it you need the security tool and you might need to remove the dash...

unless you can manage to squeeze some adhesive in there now...then press it down

yea, i just took mine out, you need a size 50 torque socket, its a dummy proof one with the little hole in da middle and theres 6 bolts for that and theres 4 bolts, size 10mm that are kind of hard to get to, but you can do this without taking out the dash and you must remove the whole glovebox compartment. good luck
