i have two - 155 ("upstream oxygen sensor heater or circuit fault.") and 325 - knock sensor... I was reading the "Ecu Codes Defined Again" and am wondering whether it is possible that heater problem (a no-fire symptom) causes the engine knocking (knock sensor code)? i.e. replacing 155 will fix the heater problem and eliminate engine knocking (325)???

not the most mechanically inclined but with a bad o2 it could be causing more knock. Try replacing you o2 and reset the ecu and see if the KS code comes back.

Maybe also get a volt meter and check your KS, see if its truely bad.

it could be related, do the o2 sensor first and see if knock sensor code goes away.

i have code p0155/0101..o2 sensor Left bank..this is the front of the engine correct? or do i have it backwards?

you always look at the engine from the timing chain/belt side, so left bank would be towards the firewall
