has anybody ever opened a pair of altezza tails and paint the inside the color of your car and left the outside len clear????????

 

No most people tape of a circle around the red part and then spray the rest body color. I wouldnt advise painting the inside housing cause you might have problems with light output. Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions. But I have never seen anyone do this.

painting the inside looks better than the outside. the light output would be more affected by painting on the outside more so than the inside because you're not blocking them at all if you think about it. there have been a few members that have done that...the hardest part is seperating the lenses which can be tough and you have to be careful. it's similar to opening stock tails with the oven or heat gun method. goodluck
