Well, I've proved that 93 octane makes my Maxima run a LOT stronger. Either that, or else I just came across some BAD fuel. I could start my car in park...and it would idle at 1000 rpm. Kind of high.....because the car was already warmed up. I'd pull it down into drive, barely tap the gas to get movin......and the car would just shut off.

Sooooo, I went to a Nissan dealership where a friend works, we tested all my coil packs...all good, and then we decide to change the fuel filter. After 5 min, it's in. Jake takes it for a drive.......everythings fine - It's kinda odd how something so small could make the car wig out like that. But........she's gettin sold today.....

Jake (slizan99) says that bad fuel might have clogged up the fuel filter...and at low RPM, there wasnt enough coming thru. Just thought I'd share.....maybe it'll make you spend $.20 more on gas

Always go premium.. Hell your supposed to run atleast 91 in the maxs..
