i was wondering if a 5th gen engine can be dropped into a 4th gen? the 4th gen weighs less than 4th right? that would make the 4th gen faster. i think it would be a cool thing for someone to try, how much do you think a 5th gen engine goes for? speaking of swapping, can the seats and center armrest in the 5th gen be added to the 4th gen?

I thought it was the same engine with some tweaks. It should fit.

Why swap the engine (it's identical)? All you have to do to a 4th gen to make it the same as a 5th gen is put a 5th gen intake manifold, airbox, and exhaust system on it. Screw buying another VQ...that is SUCH a waste of money.

Or you could go the route I went (see mods below) and make your 4th gen a good bit faster than a STOCK 5th gen.
