midpipe?

Hi, i just got my Stillen Intake installed, i can't really feel any gains in the max yet, but it sure does make a sweet nasty growl when i floor it. I was just wondering if i can change the midpipe to the intake and what would be good to go with the Stillen. I hate the one connected to the MAF, looks like a flat square box, I've seen other ppl's pics where it is just a pipe, but can't tell what they have.
Thanks

PR looks the best... i bought a short ram off ebay to get the same effect, but it was too long... so i bought a PR and used the upper pipe...

save your money and do it right with PR...

You can get a regular frankencar style midpipe... If I'm not mistaken you actually get better response with a stock midpipe in there. Reason being the small chamber holds in a good amount of air like a resevoir.
A CAI like the place racing is the best. As with any intake your not going to feel the gains.. maybe 3 to 4HP at most.

Or make your own as I did from 3" exhaust from muffler shop got them to weld in 1/2" pipe section and either 1/8" or 1/4"(can't remember which), adding a breather filter instead of 3rd pipe and 3" coupler clamp from Home depot, pics of engine on my my domain.

Thanks for help, so i guess any midpipe won't make a difference from the stock one or is the stock one just better? By the way, i've been hearing about hybrid intakes but not sure what it is, how do i make or buy one of those, sorry if this is such a newbie question
