Whistling sound

ok guys i have no idea what this sound is... It basicaly happends when i hit the accelerator.. a random whistling sound appears..

it sounds like its coming from the passenger side of the engine... BUT have no freakin clue what the hell it is.. i thought it could have been that i left my airbox open but no that wasnt it.. maybe need to change the filter??? could it be the belts.. the fan...?????????? ahhh need help asap

a whistle or rotational whistle. cause if it's rotational sound when you accelerate then it might be the wheel bearing or the axle is broken.

i have that same problem but it goes away when i hit the gas

My alternator made a turbine-like whistling sound in the weeks leading up to its eventual failure.

OR, my whistling sound was from my system, it is a wire that went to my subs that isnt wired, and everytime i touch the gas pedal it whistles, and the more i accelerate the louder the whistle....do u have a system?

no i dont have a system.. i pretty its not my axel i can double check my intake system

My intake makes that sound too. Don't know what it is, and don't really care. It's not hurting anything.

Makes the honda boys turn there heads and wonder what the whining sound is under the hood......

yup my CAI makes that wonderful sound. i just wish that it was a really turbo sound.

Same here, it makes a high wistle when on the gas, its def the CAI, I think it sounds cool.

Ahhh, the Bubb Rubb video....that one was great when I first seen it.

Anyway, when I had my midpipe on my car it had a whistle to it at partial throttle. Went away at full or no throttle. Anyway, since I took the midpipe off the sound has been gone.
