urgent help needed - car stalls right after i crank it up

POS car is not staying "on". I'll crank it up, it'll idle at like 500rpm. Then about 3 seconds later, the RPMs will BOUNCE btwn 100 and like 700 and then it will shut off.

I just changed the fuel filter 2 days ago, and used premium fuel last....could it be my fuel pump?

I was drving around all last nite, no problems.....I crank it up this afternoon and this sh*t happens.....any ideas?

Have you checked all the fuses? Did you remove the intake for the install, and like me, forget to plug the MAF in again? Did you fit the filter flowing in the right direction?

MAF is plugged in, but which fuses? I doubt one would have busted over night when the car was just sitting..

You took out the fuel pump fuse before you did this right? The box on the dash, beneath the steering wheel?

LOL! Just checking

Well I'd done this by removing the fuel pump fuse, to de-pressurise the system before swapping the filters... Maybe it's realted to that?

Sorry mate, I'm starting to show my ignorance now, maybe someone else can step in and help out?
