Panel between doors??

I was wondering if anyone has painted the panel in between the doors. the panel on my Maxima has faded from the sun, and I wanted to paint it. Any suggestions?? If anyone has done this, what kind of paint did you use and how many coats??

Thanks

the panel thats under the b pillar? you could lightly sand it real good and actually get it nice and smooth looking and paint it, it will look good, just dont forget to prime it before you paint it

if you are talking about the black panels between the windows you can take the panels off and underneath is the same color as your car anyway.

Yes. Those are exactly what I am talking about. I like the Carbon Fiber look. I want to paint mine though. How can I paint it? Should I sand it down, prime it, then paint it?? What type of paint do I use?? Thanks for the help.
