Check Engine Light Off

Dear all,
Recently I found when I start the engine, the check engine light is off. What might be the possible reason? Is there any easy way to solve it by myself?
Thanks

Yea, you gotta take apart the guage cluster and put a new bulb in. Find the directions from www.vqpower.com on HOW TO install indglow gauges....it's fairly simple.

Either it's the bulb or else a connection failure of some kind.

before you do that,!!!!
have you played with your ECU screw lately, if you did then you probably did the same thing I did to my car, you lefted unterned to it's original position, when that happen the car had a hard time starting when the engine was cold.

so, before you go disassembeling all the panels of your car, check that first. (maybe it came lose by itself)

Thanks, I have owned this car for more than 1 year and I guess I never saw the light on. How can I know if the ECU is to its original position?

Interesting, my check engine light goes on and it goes back off by itself most the time after a while. And stays off for a while too, but it could come back on anytime. Weird? I should probably check now if mine is shown during startup / ACC.
