i was wondering i have a 99 maxima, and i would like to get a chip adn i also hear that 97's are faster bc i have more emmisions. what i was wondering is would the car work if i was to put in a 97 ecu into my 99 car? what would happen if anything?

you have to swap a couple of wires on the wireing harness. im working on putting a 96 ecu in my 99

 

Are you gonna completly disconnect the extra 2 O2 sensors?

 

im real interested in doing this? i was wondering what kind of stuff i have to do? also where did u find out this information about which wirers and what not? if there is a link or if ya just know, keep me posted

im waiting for the info from jim wolf on what wire to sawp. so as soon as i find out i will let you know.and no im not going to disconnect the extra oxygen sensors cause when it comes to smog time im going to put the 99 ecu back in
