Check the idler pully(tensionor), maybe the bearings are bad, Mine was bad and a shop thought it was the PS Pump, but that was BS It was the $40 pully that I replaced myself..

Well its pretty simple after you look at it, a bracket holds it just loosen the tension and remove 2 bolts (2 or 3 dont remember) and the thing will slide off..

Make sure its that first, use a screwdriver in your ear and put it on it or something, whatever works

Well be carefull with this one... I had a bad alternator, but I could hear the sound when I put a screwdriver on the PS Pump and it changed pitch distinctly when I turned the wheel. I almost replaced it, until I noticed the sound also changed with the headlights. Only way I figured out it was the alternator was to put a charger on the battery while the engine was running which took the load off the alternator and the sound went away.
