There are specific bolts that you are supposed to use; the actual grounding bolts, so it actually does something. But I haven't been able to find that information.

both headlight grounds, alternator, block, injectors, head, maybe timing chain cover, and any other factory grounds you come across.

Just to answer KC10's question:

http://www.vqpower.com/v2/modules.ph...howpage&pid=68

Let me know what kit you went with and how much of a difference there is.

I'm interested in doing it also. Any pictures of the engine bay? Maybe I'll go to eBay or homedepot to get the wires.

Jesus man. Just pick some d@mn bolts. They are all grounding to the chassis. It doesn't matter.

I was under the assumption that there were specific bolts, hence why people would need a writeup. Sorry to up set you.

I have a list of all 100+ USED grounding points on the car. Like broaner said though, they're all grounds. Make sure that the headlights, alernator, KS are grounded though.

does it matter which of the 2 connectors you use for the knock sensor? or do you have to bloddy your hands and ground the bolt that actually holds the knock sensor?

Get the FSM. There is a diagram shows where all the ground points are in the engine bay.

the factory grounds i was refuring to are the groups of black wires with a ring terminal at the end.

the best thing to do for our grounds is to unscrew them and remove the paint under them. Nissan figured the threading of the screw would make a suitable connection, but its not a good connection at all.

the KS has 1 wire, thats it. the bolt in the middle is the ground.
