Taking the rear speakers out is a simple but time consuming process. You must take out the rear seat to get enough room to play around in. Doing this is easy. there are two tabs in the front of the bottom pad. pull these forward(towards the front) and it will come right out. the back of the seat has 3 screws i believe. remove those screws, and then pull. yes it sounds bad, but there are some plastic plugs that hold in the top. so be gentle, but pull the top. it will pop back in later.
now that you have the seat out, you have to pop up the back deck. you can see the back deck is a separate piece. you need to lift that up to get to the speakers. be gentle again, and lift it up. it is held in with plugs, and they just pop up. it will take some time. the rear deck does bend some, but don't take it too far. you just have to lift it enought to get your hands back to the speakers. then you can use a small screwdriver or a ratchet to get the screws out. then the speaker should come out. it is a tight fit because there isn't a lot of room to manuver. but you can get them out.
that is the basics. you will see how it works as you go along. when in doubt, don't push too far. you don't want to damage anything. so take your time, and you use your best judgement. GOOD LUCK

PEACE
