front end rebuild
front end rebuild
My wife's 96 SE has been making a slight groaning-type noise when you move very slowly. The noise appears to come from the left axle. I'm guessing its the axle, although it was replaced a few years ago after a wreck. It isn't clicking or popping like most axles. Could this be the bearing instead?
Has anyone bought the preloaded struts where the strut is already mounted with the springs. I have heard of them being available, but I haven't seen them for sale anywhere. I'm guessing they would be expensive.
Lastly, can you get the lower control arm with the ball joint and bushing already installed? If so, from where.
Thanks. As you can see its probably time to just redo the front end on her car as it has 135,000 miles on it. I can't see doing things piece meal.
