Stiffen motor mounts without removal?

Just wondering if its possible to stiffen the motor mounts without removing them from the car. I have no time and no money to burn giving it to a mechanic.

Just noticing the car is shifting sloppier then usual, and the mounts (aside from the rear tranny mount, which I replaced last month) are looking old. Is there an insert I can use or some trick I don't know about to stiffen them up? Can I poly them somehow while in the car?

I have a 5speed, so there is no vibration at idle. My problem is with sloppy ****ing (not really notching, just sloppy). It got a lot better when I fixed my rear mount, but I have the feeling that the other 8 year old mounts could use some help.

i heard filling them with polyurethane helps wheels hop to a radiculous amount. i'm going to try this soon.
