I have a 98 Maxima SE. There is this kind of "thump thump" sound coming from my right rear brake when any sort of weight is put on it and the car is in motion. This could either be someone sitting in the back or something in the trunk, or even just taking a left turn at any speed. You don't hear it so much when you are going straight, and when you are turning left you don't hear it at all. Also, when you go over 50, it makes a lot of noise like it is vibrating when I am not using the brakes, and when I am it gets really bad. I had a friend look at it and he said that the caliper was loose and that I need new caliper pins and that may solve the problem. Any suggestions or does anybody know what pins I have to buy?
