How do you take ECU's out?

i am trying to take a ECU out of a donor car, but i have no clue and i do not want to spend the whole day outside trying to figure out how. How do you take the ECU out? IS there an easy way or do you have to rip off the whole dash?

Tools needed: small socket like screwdriver about 4-5" long that uses small <1" bits for screw points, 10mm deepsocket.

1 Then remove the plastic on both sides behing the stereo. On the passenger side, unbolt the wiring harness, pull it out of the way.
2 There are 4 screws (phillips) 2 on rear, 2 on front 1 at each corner. You have to feel for them. then slide the screwdriver in and ratchet it to loosen the screws out.
3 Then the unit just slides out. REMEMBER THE ORIENTATION OF THE ECU AND WHICH DIRECTION IT FACES.. (Lettering up)
4 Then using the 10mm socket driver, remove the harness from the ECU. This is a long screw, so it might take some time.
5. Once the bolt is all the way out, gently pry the connector FROM the ecu... and then you can swap ECUs.
