Just wondering if 245 will fit on 17x7, or is it too wide?

You need an 8.5 wide wheel.

 

So 235's are the widest I can stick on 17x7?

Huge debates on this. 7" rim I believe can accept a 235-50 but not a 235-45. Something to do with the aspect ratio and safety.

And a 245 does NOT require a 8.5" rim. As Mustangs have 17x8 and come from the factory with 245-45-17s on their older GTs.

 

That's true, I had 18x8 with 245/35. So what tire size should I get for my AE wheels, please help me deside.

The same size that came from the factory???? But those sizes are difficult to get I believe.

 

That's the thing, I wanna get something wider then the size that came from the factory.

Hey Nismo98 is not su much the tire is the rim you have to worry about I'm runing 253/45/17 with an off set of 44

 

225/45/17 or 215/50/17
