Help!! Car doesn't always start!!

Okay guys here's my problem. About 2 weeks ago, out of nowhere I got in my max and it wouldn't start. You can here the engine cranking like its about to start, but it just wouldn't turn over. Somehow I got the car started by flooring on the gas.

I drove the car the next two days w/no problems. I get into my car on a Tuesday morning to go to work, and the damn thing wouldnt start again!!! So i get home from work and it started fine!?!?!

I brought the car to my mechanic on Wednesday and he hooked it up to his machine.(I forgot to mention when the car eventually started the first time the problem existed, the Service Engine Soon light finally came on (I got about 81K on my max)) He told me he didn't find that there's anything wrong w/the car (since it started for him) after the diagnostic except for 2 sensors. He said he realigned the sensors, but didn't replace them.

The car started fine for 2 weeks, and then bam yesterday it wouldn't start. I tried today and it did.....

What the heck is wrong w/my car? Can bad sensors cause your car to not start at times? I'm ruling out the alternator since I got a new one due to the recall around 66k. I'm sure its not the starter since it does start most of the time.

What could the problem be? Maybe bad ignition coil or a bad fuel pump?? Please help!!

Spray Sum GUMOUT Carb+ Choke Cleaner to both ends of the choke valve shaft while working choke by hand. Spray down and around the carburetor throat to remove deposits from the throttle plate area.(Your Injecters Are Maybe Dirty)

I brought my car into nissan today and they ran a diagnotic, and it didn't throw any bad codes. The guy called me up and said my electrical system is bad. Something about how there's a bulletin on it (and of course my warranty is up) and that the whole elecrical wiring harnesses have to be changed and its going to cost $2300!!! Does this sound right??

Avoid the Dealership at all costs. I have been told several times that things were wrong that really weren't, and with patience and persistence, I have been able to fix most problems myself. Investigate a bit further, get your hands dirty; learn how stuff works. Ask the mechanic dude which sensors he "aligned", what they do, and why he did what he did. RESEARCH
