I didnt even know JWT had auto tranny control unit

 

maybe he meant ECU?

 

Check out JWT's site they only have it for a 95-96 auto and its a 3 mode with a toggle switch,thats what the picture looks like anyway.

Its been out forever but no one has bought it.

 

This module has 3 modes. One being the regular shifting mode (what we currenlty have), the other sporty shifting mode (less lag between shifts), and the last I believe locks out 1st gear (it is supposed to help out with traction in the snow).

I remember my 92 Maxima had a button on the bottom of the center console that switched between sporty shifting, and the regular shifting. Now that I think about it, it also had heated outside mirrors, it was a GXE too. I wish my current Max had both of these options.
