Throttle cables

Whats the correct way to set up the throttle cable? do I take out all the slack or should it be a little loose? what abot the cable in front of the throttle cable? how does that one work?

It should be just a bit loose. Go to http://integra.vtec.net/geeser/megamax/60k_service.html

Scroll down to step 8, Tighten throttle cable.

so I leave it loose in a "half moon". does that mean that when the pedal is all the way down, the cable is not pulled to the max?

For detailed instructions on adjusting the throttle cable, refer to the Haynes repair manual, page 4-8.
