using a 2001 20th anniv tranny VLSD...

I have a 95' maxima 5 spd and am wondering if needing the driver side axle straight off of a 2001 maxima LSD car would be all I would need to use a 5spd tranny from a 2001 20th anniv tranny...I assume they use their own axle seals as well so I can't use my 95' seals?

other problem is, I don't have abs...so what axles would I get? doesn't all of the 2001's have abs....??? could I just use some I30 lsd non-abs axles? also, I read that this tranny makes the shifter sit different...in what way? I thought this tranny remained almost unchanged as it carries the same serial as the LSD trannies from the 4th gen days...they didn't change anything else? it should use my same tranny mount correct?

I have 1995 seals in a 2k tranny. I think they even had the same part numbers. I don't believe the new (used) one came with any. You should really put new ones in there. They're not that expensive. Why are you replacing your's? You will need one of the axles (I don't know which side).

Edit: I have the 2k tranny mount in there (because it came with it). It was exactly the same as my old one though. The shifter will sit further back. A B&M STS fixed that though .

my Custom maxima STS sits to far foward anyway.....which will be good....so I won't need the mount...that's good....I will get new seals fer sher....but I will need the driver side axle at the very least....I will get the entire thing though seeing as they are very cheap from raxles and they have a lifetime warranty!!! I just want to know if I will have any problems cause the axle will be for an abs equipped 2001 and I don't have abs, so will I have any trouble using the 2001 lsd axles... from raxle....would I need to get a 4th gen LSD axle from like a I30 without abs or something (maybe a 95 or 96)?
