Hi I am having a problem with my Maxima. I have had it sitting in my garage for sometime now. (Do not have enough money for insurance ). I think my cousin was in there one day and he left one of my dome lights on. So the battery died on me. I boosted it the next day and the car started fine. I came to the car two days later and I think my cousin left the light on again. So this time I tried boosting it with a portable car charger. It worked( Radio turns on and all light come on) but now my car wont start. It makes this weird clicking sound when I turn the ignition. I have not tried boosting it with another car again. Does anyone have a clue what this could be? Any info is appreciated. Thanks

 

Sounds like your battery has fried..

 

on the weak battery...

 

is it turning the engine at all ? if not try to smack your starter with something solid.
the pull in winding inside the starter solenoid might be stuck.
