well i recently got i30 tan leather seats in my car and am looking to do something with the door inserts. i had black leatheresk vynal a while back but didn't do a great job so i went back to the stock cloth a while back. recently i've had the itch to do it again and finish up but am debating whether i should get tan door inserts from that guy that does the group deals on here, or make my own.

here's what i've been considering: a tan vynal type leather orrrr suede! i'm not sure if it would be cheesey and seem out of place or not. ever since i saw sadlers new g35, i've been itching for suede.

has anyone done suede on their max? i remember seeing some a while back but the whole roof and everything was done too. i'll have to do a search for that, but was wondering if anyone new has done it recently...

(nothing set in stone, just looking for ideas so no jerk responses!)

 

the suede setup is used in the is300 aka altezza. it looks great with the black setup.

 

On a side note, I have had my leather installed for about a year and I am STILL having troubles with the door inserts. I can't get them to stay in place especially in the heat! Any suggestions in how I can go about this again?! What kind of adhesive do you reccommend?

 

sadler has it on his new g35 and it looks great. maybe i'll give it a try when i get the chance...was just hoping someone else may have done it.
