1995-1999 Maxima Euro Clear/Black Headlights & Corners

Anyone bought and installed these yet? The headlights look like the AE mod except only the outside is black, not the inside. They're $250.

hold on there...i still consider myself a noob wit installs, and my cefiros sit almost perfectly, only thing is the space which is this big * * that u can fill in very easily with weather stripping....my cefiros are flush...and look OEM, so im guessing u havent seen a decent cefiro job.....and i coulodnt imagine how since its not hard, ill take and post pics to shut u down on it if u want....but cefiros r probably the best exterior mod i ever did to my max, besides the drop, chrome rims, and tint....

I really wanna see those cefiros sitting flush, I"ve seen quite a few of them. The best job I've seen is a black max that had silicone in that half inch of gap in the fender... these look ALOT better than Cefiros and you dont have to worry about cutting and finding a new way to hang up your grill.

WTF, they didn't black out the side piece on the inside of the headlight (next to the grille)? So these are just half blacked-out.... great deal.

Yea they're only half painted. You could do a better job by opening them up and painting them yourself.

The only nice thing is the extra clear corner light.

Wasn't there just a thread about this:

It has the same argument on it that is about to start. LOL

The AE mod looks like Shlt. Unless your car is black...maybe. GET CEFIROS, one piece is the way to go. it looks 10x cleaner. just put some black weather stripping in the gap and you'll never see it again.

Flush:

man does someone have sand in their vagina? calm down dude i have never seen a decent fitted pair on a maxima. so if you want to prove me wrong go ahead i am not saying you do not have it. I would liek to see a good fitted pair acually. Just all the ones i have seen look like crap because of the inch gap filled wiht weather stripping.

Lets see some pics, sunshine.

I, too, have seen crap fitment on the cefiros. But the org would sure love to see a pic of a flushed, oem looking set.

I got sick of replacing bulbs after doing the bright corner mod, so, I installed some Hella Micro DE fog lamps in the corners. I used an air-saw to cut the nessosary holes and some glass-bondo to seal the foglight housing to the back of the headlight housing. It works great the light projection is amaizing.

The fog lams:

I fabricated the grill and eyelids. The eyelids are made out of fiberglass and the glill is made out of alluminum round bar painted pearl black. I don't have pics of the whole process, but, I have some of the early stages of fiberglass at this link:

there is not way you can get a OEM looking fitment like jm5464 did, just slapping them on there. Now i like the cefiro light, it is a great looking headlight, but once it is on the car without moddification it looks like crap.

now if you do what jm5464 did, then i feel it, that looks fudgin awsome! good job . There is no way you get get results like that without modding.

Cefiro lights fit slightly differently on every car. Mine even fit a little differnet on each side. So, im afriad I would not be able to make a grill/eyelid setup that would fit nicely on your car, without using your car as the mold.
