Hi,

My brakes made alot of noise.
I changed both the front and rear brake pads.

Front: Axxis performance pads
Rear: Quietstops from Abestos(spelling)

Now it makes less noise but squeels only on certain level of pressure on the brake pedals. Sounds like the front ones....

Any advice to eliminate the squeeking brakes?
'95 maxima with 60k miles

Ceramics not sound but really dirty.

OEM brakes are the quietest... by FAR. Make sure they put on shims and that anti squeel goo, that should make them stop squeeling.

I have the axis ultimates ceramic pads all the way around....they squeal badly, but only under light braking and under 10mph....under super light or heavy braking they don't squeal at all...I used all the quiet stop goo I could...I guess some pads just squeal....I don't mind though...I guess that's what I pay for having absolutely no fade at the track or in the canyons!

To me, brake noise is unacceptable for any reasons.
I'm gonna have to do some detective work.
