Fake SE on eBay

This guy is selling a supposed SE on eBay. Interesting tail lights. Hmm.

I sent the seller the following Email:

Why does the car have wheels from a 95 or 96 GLE model?
Why doesn't the car have factory foglights that are standard on all SE models?
Why does the car have the woodgrain dash and door trim from a GLE model, but the manual air conditioning that was only available on GXEs and SEs?
Why does the steering wheel have leather trim like an SE or GLE and the shifter does not, like a GXE?
Why is the gray carpet trim piece missing from the inside of the trunk lid?
Why does the car have the center console with the open cupholders from a 95 or 96 model Maxima?
Why is plastic plug for the 12 volt outlet missing?

If you can clear up these little questions I have, I would consider making a fair bid on the car.

According to the auction - he has already "sold" it to that 443jason bidder... if he never gets back to mzmtg - it might be worthwhile to shoot Ebay an email or maybe not? Someone is getting swindled here.

That car is clearly a rebuilt one - possibly a collision, theft, or flood car.

Someone should email eBay and the bidder to make sure they don't get ripped off. Could be more problems with that car than just a mix-n-match interior.

wow its got so many mixed parts, 3rd brake light, body matched handles, blacked out trim, almost a full OEM wood kit.

wtf is up with the bumper light? Photo shop?

all the pix with the pass. bumper light look fake.

this guy is good, he has got everyone stumped.

My vote is that it is a 98 SE with 95/96 GLE parts (full interior) and has a 98-99 black gauge cluster.

looks to me like it was stolen and stripped, and whoever rebuilt it didn't know about the year/model differences. i saw a few like that when i was looking for my car.

that guy is NEW to ebay and he is clearly trying to make a 2-3 grand profit selling that thing. that is NOT a 97-99 guranteed !!!

anyone who bids on a car sold by a dude with a low feedback like his is a dumbass !
