Where did you get the Jet Chip

also how much was it I would really be interested to see what kind of gains you would get from it, I also heard that the venom sucks cause it only works up to 5000RPM which really means you might have more hp at 5000 than at 5800RPM.
Let me know I would really like to get one. Thanks

I got it at Streetsports, a local store. I got it for $225 and it sounded cool...the Venom costed over $500..the mechanic recommend the Venom just because he had put one on an integra and said he was really impressed...but he had never installed a Jet chip...I figured that i'd go with the jet chip instead because i don't think the Venom could give me 300 dollars worth more horsepower than the jet chip....can't wait to put it on...will have it on hopefully between 2-4pm...got a strut bar to put on too!..

hey what sup .. i used to work for jet performance and i must say their stuff dont work sometimes ... i highly recommend not to spend your money or time with them ... but if it did work for you then i wish you good luck ...all they really doing is just maxed out your air/fuel mixture ... if your car has allot of engine mods get an apexi afc

I know that the Venom 400 module adds like 25% increase of total horsepower, buts thats only if the car is stock. The more mods that you do, the lower that percentage goes. I know that you can get the Venom 400 thing for around 300 bones. If you have an auto, than why not just spend the money on a torque convertor.

Good luck with the JET chip, I don't think it makes any power. They have a really bad rep. The Venom 400 has an even worse rep. I don't think anyone that's bought it has been satisfied. I know a couple of people with it, and totally hated it. It doesn't actually make any power at full throttle. It basically only adjusts power at partial throttle so the only benefit may be better throttle response. It basically messes up the way your car drives. People have told me it doesn't feel natural.

Electrical component if the package is opened the odds of you returning the chip is very low.

The torque converter is the automatic transmission component which is located between the engine and transaxle.

Well three years ago it was all about JET programming, but I haven't heard about them forever. I was going to ask if anyone had experience. I'm sure you will get some gains from it because they'll increase your air/fuel ratio, but I doubt it'll be as refined and well tuned as the UPRD or JWT chips.

It pays to do as much research as you can before you spend your money, especially for mods. We get a little anxious to do up our cars sometimes. Greddymax, take your time with the mods or else you will burn a hole in those pockets.

If anyone wants to buy a venom 400 I do have one for sale. It honestly does perform a noticable change to the engine and contrary to other opinions i feel an increase in HP but ONLY when using 93 octane gas.. anything less and your car rides like $hit.. I bought this for 350 would be willing to part for 150 shipped.
