No, and no. First looks and sounds bad while the 2nd will rust out on you in a day. The y-pipe is good but you live in NY and it's not stainless steel so what's the point? Stop asking the same question every damn day. At least keep it all in the same thread.

i think araffio had the obx exhaust... from this site: http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaCatbacks

it gives the following:

Description: The exhaust is loud at first but will become quieter within a week or two, It then generates a nice deep tone. It is made out of stainless steel, has 2.25" piping, a resonated B-pipe, the muffler has a 4" tip and a polished finish.
Possible problems: A few have complained that the B-pipe that comes with the catback hangs somewhat low along with the tip not centering perfectly in the exhaust cutout hole. Others had no such problem or reported that they are very easy to fix.

1. obx-h catback exhaust is good, many orgers have them supposely they are greddy replica. they offer 2.25" inlet w/ 4.5" tip. completely stainless steal

2. monza catback sux, it's not SS and it'll rust.

3. wsp y-pipe is good, it's the same one that they offer in the group deal. many orgers have them.

now you're gonna **** people off... for the questions you ask, you can find all the answers in the stickies... for your intake question, look in my signiture...

but to answer your question, an intake is an intake (given its the same style) i wouldn't pay for the name in this case... they sell exact same styles as your link but from a company called BOMZ... the filter may be alittle crappier, but still you will get it for about $50 to your door...

I agree. Those that say OBX type-H sucks needs to get their brain checked. Please don't diss what you don't know. It doesn't help other orgers. Me and happyricefob both have OBX type-H exhausts and love them. The only problem with the obx is tip alignment, and in some cases, a low b-pipe (exhaust shop can fix these). I personally think that the OBX sounds better than the SP2.

Well, your a fool if you get that Monza (pacesetter) exhaust. People have had it, people have claimed it was crap and rusted out completly just as happyricefob stated.

Whe the OBX first came out, many members purchased them through GD's.
Pics were posted as were their remarks. I ve only heard good things especially for its price. Maybe some slight fitment issues but nothing major.

As far as that intake goes, that looks like the Injen knockoff. It should be okay. Not sure about the fitment. Im sure it could be made to work.
What does that CAD price break down into US $$

If you research and do your homework, you can find way better prices for exhaust other than ebay. Ebay IMO is not the best place to look for performance mods. Don't get me wrong once in a blue moon will you find good quality pieces from private owners on there but I would stay away and go to a shop or a performace internet site. Sorry but from experience ebay items don't always work out. Just my .02

I would like the people that say "no" to the OBX exhaust to explain why you say no. I have had my OBX cat-back for two years now. I bought mine when araffio bought his. It is still in good shape, sounds good, and I am more than pleased with it. Yes, the b-pipe does hang a little low. I actually had my hangers on the muffler rewelded to raise the b-pipe after about a year of having it, just cause I had the money to spend. It cost me like $50. I would say this is the best cat-back for someone on a budget. Not everyone has $500 to spend on an exhaust. You give a clear explanation why the GReddy is worth double the price and maybe I will swap out my perfectly good, 2 year old OBX for a SP2. Until then, I am happy with my OBX. Also, I have the WS Y-pipe and I am very happy with that also. Concidering I live in RI, I think my car takes as much of a beating as someone in NY.

seems to me youre lookin to buy no name brand products at prices you could get quality brand name ones. dont go ebay if you wanna spend that much - buy Warpspeed or something like that if youre gonna spend that much money.

I've found that lots of people like to talk out of their a$$ here on the org lately when they know absolutely nothing about the topic.

Will the real OBX hater please stand up and tell us why you don't like it? Or is everybody happy with their OBX catback?

Could someone post pics of the Obx cat-back on a stock rear bumper?
Im really considering buying this exhaust. The muffler just looks HUGE and i wanted to see how it looks installed. Also, if it's not too much too ask for maybe a sound clip?

A few REAL old pics of when I first got the exhaust on. The exhaust is closer to the bumper now.

I don't know how much quieter it makes it, I've never used mine. When I installed my exhaust, it was a first for me. If you can install a y-pipe, you can definitely install a cat-back. It's a matter of breaking the bolts free on the stock cat back and then installing the new stuff. Just make sure you get those bolts soaked in PB Blaster, or else you're gonna have to let an exhaust shop take them off. A good key to know when they're soaked in enough pb blaster is if you start to get high from the smell.

I love it, and I have a y-pipe.

It honestly sounds like the SP2. It's really nice at WOT. It drones a bit in the 70-78mph range on the highway, but that's about it. It's also dual resonated, so you don't have to worry about a lot of raspiness. There will always still be a little, but any exhaust will give you a bit of it.

Are you talking about the hose clamps? If you are, then you can get them at any PEP boys, DAP, Autozone, home depot, etc. Just make sure you get the right size. Get them too big, it won't pull the tip in far enough; too small, and it won't fit.

If you want to get the tip aligned properly, get your factory jack, and put a few rags on it, and jack up the rear section of the catback to where you like it, then tighten the clamps. That should do the trick.

And another tip: If you don't want the hose clamps breaking on you, put two on instead of one in whatever spots you have them. That way, you have twice the strength on there.

P.S.

The car's lookin good mang.
