Need help from the Gurus

Hey, I'm going to change my clutch/flywheel HOPEFULLY soon. Anyways, I see alot of peeps complaining about bad tranny bearings. I was wondering how can I tell if I have any bad bearings in my tranny? I figured if I'm gonna have the tranny out, i might as well change them if they happen to be bad. What are the symptoms of bad tranny bearings?

BWT I have a 5spd 95.

I'm not sure how you reached that conclusion.

You would get a leak most likely from bad axle seals, which have nothing to do with the bearings.

I had bad bearings and it was causing my transmission fluid to leak as well. As stated on motorvate.ca "They found excessive play in the 'differential carrier bearing', and this extra play was the reason for the leak. (The seal can only control the gear oil with a slight amount of movement.)"

I hate to say this mzmtg, but you are wrong. Bad differential bearings will eat through axle seals causing them to leak. That motorvate article gives a good explanation if I recall.
