totalled the max, bought max II today

well to make a long story short, some a**hole cuts me off and slams his brakes, he hits someone and i hit the whole mess from behind. airbags went off, me and a girl were allrite. insurance decided to total the car (cracked frame)...got 8700 for it. I bought a car today, 98 gle (auto ) apexi exhaust, hids, fogs, clear corners, black leather, sunroof, spoiler, injen intake. gettin it monday cuz im up here at albany for school. im gettin pumped for the hids, got to check the boxes im not sure if there mculloughs or not. question tho, i have the remote from my old max, 97, i was wondering if theres a way to reprogram it for my new car?....even tho it has an aftermarket alarm...ill have pics of both cars up when i find a host

You still have those AE wheels that I see in the pic. If so are any of them for sale?

you should be able to transfer the remote but if your new car has an aftermarket alarm you stock/old remote will not activate/deactivate it. well its like that for my car at least last owner installed aftermarket alarm and now i have 2 alarms 1 factory 1 aftermarket
