Winter Protectionb Tips?

Well for those of you that have to worry about winter, salt chips and so on, what are some tips that you can share with everyone?

I for one just had a custom paint job done on my car, and it is lowered 2" all the way around. I am considering getting a cover for the front, but wanted to know if it will actually scratch my car more than actually protect it?

Are there any tips that anyone can suggest?

I had a leather mask on my old car (cutlass) and it worked alright but you did have to stay on top of it. Take it off by peeling it off more than just pulling it off and then washing the hood, bumper, the back of the bra, etc. It does work in protecting the paint but it's not a put it on and forget it deal. You have to help it protect your car or it will scratch it. And don't Armor All it. Armor all will be absorbed by it and then stain your paint. You have to buy a special shine spray that will shine the bra but still leave it "breathable" because Armor All will just leave it oily and your hood too.

coat your wheels in axle grease. The grease will stay on all winter and protect them from the salt, then power spray it off in spring. Use a nice thick coat.
