All I got to say is wow... So you just switched to a 99 foglight?

BTW, do they sell fog light metal supports alone? My fogs are fine but their supports are just dying.

so what steps did you go through to remove the inner shield. there is like zero room to get it out.

Looks great....how about some night shots.
you going to do some HID projectors too??

yeah i'm going to try and put in some type of projector, they are bright and it would be nice to focus the beam

but for the shield, just grip the side of it, inside the foglight housing,(with needle nose pliars) and wiggle it till a side breaks off, then do it to the other side, so you'll have a loose piece of metal jiggling in the housing.....next, grip the piece of metal(used to be shield) and twist while pulling....the metal with wrap around the pliars and come out of the housing hole

i reason i didn't just drill a hole in the shield was that the bulb touched part of the shield, which i thought i was a no go, night pics will be up shortly

Projectors are going in my foglights as I write this. Putting audi TT foglights with yellow bulbs (which turn out MUCH yellow than in a reflector setup) to compliment my projector hid headlights.

They'll work great. I was just test fitting them yesterday and all I have to do is shave a little bit off the projector bracket and I'm good to go.

the 8,000k 9004 kit will not blind anyone unless you dont aim them lower. My boy Tony aka Araffio had the 8,000k blue heads and fogs aimed perfectly and never bothered anyone on the street at night. Not to mention its gonna look stupid having 5,000k heads and 8,000k fogs, both will be completely different colors. Plus your fogs will make the heads look like halogens.
