DIY Accessory Belts

Aside from buying the actual belts. What tools would I need to change the accessory belts? Someone posted this before, but I had a hard time doing the search. I believe something about a tensioner was mentioned. Thanks for any help.

This job can be done by the home mechanic. You can buy both belts from a Nissan parts discounter (such as Courtesy) for less than $30, including shipping. For instructions, go to

scroll down to Step 7, Belt Replacement. Click on any of the thumbnails for an enlarged image.

Tools needed:
- a jack
- one jackstand
- an assortment of ordinary hand tools including metric wrenches
