What clutch to buy?

I have a 95SE 5-speed that has 136,000 miles and I think the clutch is the original one. It still grabs fine unless I shift fast. I am looking at buying a good all around clutch that will last a long time. I don't plan on modding the car. It just has a intake right now. I was thinking of getting a OEM, but wasn't sure if there was something cheaper that was a better alternative. Also where is the best place to purchase a OEM replacement. Thanks.

Is there any dealers to order from that offer better prices? Do I just tell them I don't want the key value? What is the difference anyway?

when you call dealerhips, make sure you ask for the JDM clutch and not the ****ty "Key Value" clutches that majority of them carry. The key value clutch costs $199 vs. the JDM which I was quoted $240 (very hard to find a dealer who carries em).

Eitehr that or go with the Exedy stage 1 performance clutch.. very close to stock but a bit more grabbing power. I was going to go OEM but jumped on a group deal for the exedy and I don't do much racing and all (mainly commuter) and I feel this is an awesome clutch.

Allright, I might look into the Exedy clutch. Any good place to get it? I see they have them on ebay pretty cheap. Is this the same clutch? Thanks.

Will the ebay Exedy last as long as a OEM? I don't really need anything over stock.

unfortunatly, i dont think people have had this clutch long enough to tell.

i bought it because at the moment money was tight, and if doing it yourself its as cheap as your going to get. i have about 15000-16000 miles on mine so far, and not a single complaint.

I think the nissan OEM jdm clutch is made by exedy for nissan, just like hitachi makes our starters and hanshin/mitsubishi makes our coil packs, NGK makes the nissan branded spark plugs....tokico makes the struts....etc.
