So when my car is cold. I start it up, it starts up a lot louder than normal and it seems it's trying too hard to fire up the engine. I could even feel my steering wheel jolt right when the engine starts. Just recently, there's also this wierd whining noise for the first instant i start the car up. sounds kind of like a supercharger but not quite.

I'm wondering if somethin's up with my car at this point? There have been no major problems with my car and it's almost at 79,000 miles. What could be wrong? anyone else experience this?

i just saw the thread way down there about the same problem I'm having (i think). the link to the motorvate site says to take out your entire engine... hm I am not even close to capable of doin that so maybe I should just go to a mechanic
