door problem

hey, i have a 96 max se and there is something wrong with my rear drivers side door. For some strange reason, it takes A LOT more effort to open and close the door. I heard this may be a common problem. I was wondering if anyone knew what the problem was adn what needs to be done to fix it?

I have a 95 with the same problem. I used WD40, then after a few days applie some motor oil to the hinges. Worked well.

Ditto, same thing. Just be sure to spray the hinges, not the plastic shaft that goes into the door. That's just a door stop and not actually what's binding.
