Full front end led conversion

So last night I finally finished changing all of my front end bulbd to superwhite LED's and I ran into a little problem. I have 1157 superwhite LED's in the corner lamps, 194's on the sides and I molded 194's into the stock 1156 harness for the fronts. Bright light, beautiful color, match my HID's, BUT....I got the superfast blinkers now. Whats going on? I didn't change any of the wiring routes so nothing should be different. Anyone ever run into this? Usually happens if a bulb burns out no?

Ok I am assuming you didn't install load resistors? Factory bulbs need more wattage going to them, so when LEDs are installed the factory harness feels no power draw so it does it's bulb is burned out blink. Just wire some of these in http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm (about half way down Load resistor kits)

d@mn, im ready to do the same thing, LED conversion........upon reading this thread i just ordered 2 load resistors for each LED bulb i bought for my turn signals....

im putting 194 amber, led bulb in sidemarkers, and 1156 amber leds for blinkers.....im wiring these to blink together....do i need load resistors for the 194 if i gonna make them blink also?

or does the resistor just go on the wire before the 1156 and the 194?

If you are wiring them together than yes, put the resistor before them, as the power for them will be coming off the same wires.

if i do this, it well also meant thta i will not be using the sidemarker wire anymore, i guess that should go to my city lights on my cefiros....i was gonna splice the city lights into the corner lights, ...corner lights and sidemarkers are on at the same time, but the difference is in the power right?? if so, how many amps does the sidemarker harness provide? and how many does the city light provide? thanks for the help...

That I am not sure of, as I only play with other people's Maxima's.
