'99 Maxima Stalling at stops
Hey all,
Thought I would get your opinion on this. The last couple of months, my max has been semi-hard starting(I would crank the engine for around 2 seconds to start the car). This has never been a problem as the car has never failed to start. The car cranks fine it just takes a second to turn over. Then today, my car started stalling when braking or idling while holding the brake. I suspect the engine is not getting enough fuel(filter or injectors). What do you guys think?

im not very experienced with this but id check the spark plugs spark plug wires run some fuel injector cleaner threw your gas tank with some 91 oct if you dont already run 91 oct clean your throttle body change the fuel filter to could be clogged and do a seafoam cleaning to the engine and check to see if you have and ecu codes coming from the ecu mybe that will show you some answers to your problem and it doesnt hurt to change the sensors that can cause random problems to. hopefully that gives you a start on fixing your problem
