This really pisses me off that your brother (your own fresh and blood) is taking advantage of you like this. I would like to help you but the only thing that I can think of for you to do is unrepair the things that you repaired on the maxima. Maybe that will deter you brother from selling the car. But even that sounds impossible.

Ok, give him a crash course in the "When you buy a car, you need to make sure you afford the payments on that car" thing ... tell him if he just wants your max back because hes broke, tell him to sit and spin.

If that was my brother, I'd make sure he could never sell that thing. I'd swap out all the sensors with bad ones. MAF, KS, Cam, ect. And also, If that was my brother, I would whoop his *** till he cried like a bi0tch and then I'd tell him if he still wanted it, I would take that $1,000+ worth of repairs out on his asssssssssssss lol. Plus give him extra for my pain and suffering.

Keep the max.

I'll be rootin' for you.

P.S. No offence, but your brother sounds like a mooch.

And your Max should live well past 175,000 .... I would think anyway, mines got 186,000 ..... that reminds me, I need to get my oil changed today....

Brakes feel like they have 2-3 times as much on them and have a "weak" feel.
It wouldn't be Grand Cherokee if the brakes worked well dude, best bet is to get a decent set of aftermarket pads and rotors...

Just PM me if you need any help with it I have been with the Jeeps forever...

Jinni - he (my brother) needs a crash course on how to take care of a car

notsofun - I'm considering aftermarket brake parts along w/ SS brake lines on my GC, that'll be my 1st mod on that. Yeah it's a lease but I'd rather have brakes that actually work and stop the car like it should rather than those that prematurely age. I'm sure you have found others on the Jeep forums that have brake woes on their GC's ... btw have you seen the '05 GC?
