it sounds good and all...but have you heard the headers b4 and after on the 5.5 gen's (3.5L)....man they make a difference in sound....I know they always say the headers make our cars sound exotic....but they don't seem to!!! on the 3.5L cars...they make them sound amazing especially in the car! personally, I only hear a slight difference in tone over other maxima's with a similar setup, but different y pipe vs. the cattman headers....on the 3.0L vq's...on the 3.5L vq's...they sound totally different! and slightly exotic!

but then again I have only been in one 4th gen with the cattman's and he didn't really push it and also had the dynomax turbo with budget b pipe setup....and straight pipe....so maybe's that's not the best example to go off of for the 4th gens....

With the s/c the headers give a 19hp gain. Its just not that much with the NA because your not forcing as much air through.

It's not uncommon for a 4th gen to gain 12-15 whp N/A w/y-pipe only, so what you'er saying doesn't impress me at all.

get a mevi on there and ecu and see how your car will pull with those headers!!! I don't think you'll be ready...!! I dyno @ roughly 202whp without headers and flywheel....so imagine with your setup how high you'll dyno! but with the mevi, your tq # will stay about there @ 194....even with the added ecu...cause the mevi loses some torque....but your car will pull so hard on top end with the headers, mevi and ecu
